A short-list of my favorite books, there’s something about these books that makes them especially memorable to me. I will continue to update this list, stay tuned !
The Wealthy Barber/ Wealthy Barber Returns by David Chilton (Business/Finances)
As a non-business major I truly appreciated that this book allows for anyone to be able to read and grasp the concepts tackled. A simple way to build an understanding of finances.
Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes (Fiction)
The first novel I read in high school, also the first time I realized how intrigued I was by other human beings and their life course.
Who’s Got Your Back by Keith Ferrazzi (Business/Self-Help)
Taught me the importance of networking effectively, not taking on the me-against the world mentality, as well as how to build strong professional and lifelong relationships.
A Stolen Life by Jaycee Dugard (Non-Fiction/Biography)
A truly touching read on what was a crude, disgusting crime. Always a light at the end of the tunnel…
